Because we believe that the universal spirit of bread is sharing, we're committed to the communities we live in and serve. We show our appreciation for customers not only within our bakery-cafes but also by sponsoring special events, participating in charitable programs, and donating fresh, wholesome food - that might otherwise be discarded - to places where the hungry are fed daily.
Community Bread Box
With the generous help of our customers, we have been collecting
funds in all of our 16 Greater Boston area Panera Bread locations
through our Share the Bread community breadboxes. All donations go
to the Children's Hospital Boston.
Day-End Dough-Nation
Another component of the Operation Dough-Nation® program is our
commitment to giving back to those who are hungry in our community.
At the end of each day, all unsold bread and bakery products are
donated to local food banks and pantries.
